First of all, Edward James Olmos can't act worth a damn. He has had the same frown on his face in front of the camera for the past 28 years, regardless of what movie or television production he has been in, and regardless of what character he was supposed to be playing. Edward James Olmos has never actually portrayed a character on film, or actually acted in anything he has ever been in. He has just been himself frowning and mumbling, whether he was (supposed to be) playing a hispanic version of Commander Adama, the precinct captain in Miami Vice, or that nameless nobody in Blade Runner. People have accused William Shatner of being the worst actor of all time, but I disagree. Edward James Olmos in the worst actor of all time. And I will give him credit in that he actually gave the worst performance of his career (if that's even possible) as Commander Adama in Ronald D. Moore's GINO. So he does deserve credit for having the ability to sink to the bottom of the crapper acting wise in GINO. To the point of actually not reaching his usual crappy standards as an actor, he actually sunk much, much lower than that in GINO. Hopefully, his appearance in Ronald D. Moore's GINO will be the last time he ever appears on film.
This brings us to Edward James Olmos the film director. He directs actors the same way he "cough" acts himself. Performances are bleak, morose, and depressing. If the cast of "The Plan" were acting at all, and they were allegedly playing characters, then these are characters I would want shot out of the nearest airlock in outer space because I don't care if they live or die. Like Ronald D. Moore, like David Eick, and like the rest of the GINO cast and crew, Edward James Olmos has zero career prospects beyond GINO due to his staggering lack of talent. After GINO, we may see Olmos in a "Tostidos" snack food commercial here and there, following in the footsteps of George Hamilton. We may see Olmos in a Telemundo soap opera, or he may pop up in off-Broadway theater. If a new hispanic sitcom comes along ala' George Lopez, we may see him in that. Better yet, he may some day do a Thigh Master commercial with Bonnie Hammer. Will Edward James Olmos ever be a break out actor or director? No. He doesn't have the talent for it. He doesn't even have the talent to be categorized as a character actor, because he has never played a genuine character on film in his life. All he has ever done is be himself on film, frowning and mumbling.
As for "The Plan", it was nothing but endless flashback sequences strung together with the GINO actors doing what they always do.....imitating Olmos frowning and mumbling. _________________ THE BOOBS ABOVE GLEN A. LARSON'S HEAD ARE HIS PSYCHOLOGICAL SPEED BUMPS.

There has been talk of collecting memorabilia from Ronald D. Moore's cancelled GINO (Galactica In Name Only) series.
I would like a plaster cast of the frown on Edward James Olmos's face, including all of the acne scars on his cheeks. I'm trying to make a scary Halloween mask for next year.....Halloween 2010. _________________ THE BOOBS ABOVE GLEN A. LARSON'S HEAD ARE HIS PSYCHOLOGICAL SPEED BUMPS.

Lang, how much did they charge you for Olmos' mask?
You know, you can use it for the remake of HAlloween, in the original one, MM used a SShatner's mask, in our new inmproved version, you can take the lead and use Olmos' face... _________________ Successfully bringing fine Tv shows like BSG and Caprica to you.
