To me when they offer these win a dinner or meeting with a movie star things it seems like a sycophants' wet-dream about a naracisist having a wet-dream. I mean really what happens is the fan falls all over the star playing to his or her ego. And the fan feels actually grateful for the chance to meet this person who would probably not even speak to them 1 minute after meeting is officially concluded. To me this is such a pathetic thing for a fan to want.
